Guidelines✨
Eligibility: The program is open to teenagers from 14 to 18 looking to be more aware of mental health and connecting with others in a positive manner. We encourage those who are seeking understanding, support, and connection to participate.
Confidentiality: All participants must commit to maintaining the confidentiality of their penpal's information and experiences shared in the letters. Respect: The language used in communication should be respectful and considerate. Any form of bullying, discrimination, or hate speech is strictly forbidden.
Supportive Environment: The aim of this program is to create a supportive environment. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences, coping strategies, and positive affirmations.
Moderation: All letters may be subject to review by a designated program coordinator to ensure they follow the guidelines.
Professional Help: This program is not a substitute for professional mental health services. If a participant is in crisis, they should seek help from a mental health professional immediately.
Escalation: If participants feel uncomfortable with the contents of the letters, they are encouraged to report it to the program coordinator.
Remember, the goal of this program is to foster understanding, mutual support, and a sense of connection among young adults seeking to improve their own as well as others mental health.
